Biography
Tamás Tóth (born May 16, 1969) is a Hungarian Multi-instrumentalist musician and composer. Co-founder of TEA group Awarded with EmRTon prize in 1994. He wrote and arranged A capella music, contemporary jazz compositions and Symphonic crossover pieces in the Mid 90s . As the leader of TEA group Tamás composed The Secret of the Blue Globe Symphonic crossover piece . The piece was performed by Győr Philharmonic Orchestra & TEA at Győr Music Summer in 1997. In the same period he arranged several compositions for brass instruments for the soloists of TEA.
In the late 90s he made a good friendship with the members of Budapest Festival Horn Quartet during the tours and concerts of Budapest Festival Orchestra.
Miklós Nagy the leader of the horn quartet commissioned Tamás Tóth to compose a piece for horns. The new composition-Camelot-was recorded by Budapest Festival Horn Quartet for their new album (Cornologia II.) released in 2001 at Hungaroton-Classic.
